At PracticeOnline, we take your privacy and the security of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run your practice session:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture, provided via Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication.
• Resume & Job Details (optional): If you use Custom Interview mode, we extract only the key details relevant to interview personalisation — your skills, experience level, and target role — from your resume or job description. We do not retain a copy of your full resume document.
• Interview Transcript: A text record of the questions asked and your spoken answers, used solely to generate your feedback report. We do not record or store audio or video of your interview sessions. Your camera and microphone are used only to power the live interview experience in your browser — nothing is uploaded or saved.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to power the core functionality of PracticeOnline:

• To generate personalised interview questions and detailed feedback using AI.
• To let you track your practice history and progress over time.
• To process payments securely through Razorpay.

We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Data Security & Storage

Your account details and interview transcripts are stored securely in Firebase Firestore with access restricted to your own account. We retain your interview history so you can review your progress; you can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at team@practiceonline.in.

4. Sharing Your Data

We share data with trusted third-party service providers (such as Firebase for database hosting and Razorpay for payment processing) strictly as required to operate the service. We do not share your personal information, interview transcripts, or resume details with any unauthorised parties.
